Richard heads the team that runs Shropshire Chamber of Commerce on a day-to-day basis. Richard sits on and reports directly to the Chambers Board of Directors. Richards’s role is very varied working both behind the scenes to ensure the Chamber is fully integrated with relevant public sector bodies as well as in a public facing role promoting and building the Chamber.  As a Shropshire lad Richard has a strong bond to the county and a solid understanding of what is a very diverse county.  Richard's career prior to the Chamber was in the automotive industry where he held many senior and directorship positions.  Richard is huge supporter of Shrewsbury Town FC and has a true passion for playing golf.

Teresa Rowe

Events Manager

Teresa holds a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance and after college joining the Shropshire Star at just 18. She worked in Classified Advertising Dept covering customer service and sales giving her the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. After 3 years at HQ, Teresa was transferred to Newport to take responsibility for the planning and design of the Newport and Market Drayton Advertiser.

Joined Shropshire Chamber in July 1999 as Customer Services Adviser, which covered a variety of administrative duties. Promoted first to Telesales Dept then to Membership Co-ordinator, responsible for all membership administration and events, this role also called on her previous marketing skills, as she became editor of the Chamber Business Matters magazine. In April 2010 Teresa was once again promoted, this time to Events Manager. However, the title does not truly reflect the wide range of duties Teresa covers for the Chamber, capitalising on her superb organisational and customer services skills, as well as her boundless enthusiasm.

Lesley Tomlinson

Lesley is HR Advisor and Executive Assistant, providing administration support for Richard Sheehan and the Board of Directors of the Chamber. Lesley also assists with the running of the highly successful Patronage and Affiliated Chambers’ schemes. She has a wealth of knowledge and organisational ability acquired after many years working in the manufacturing and financial sectors.

Ingrid Griffiths

Export Documentation Administrator

Ingrid is a fully qualified member of the Chambers export documentation team.

Being French, tri lingual, and having international business qualifications as well as experience working in the UK, in finance and accounting, makes Ingrid a very useful and versatile member of the team.

Ian Lindsay

Finance Manager

Ian is responsible for the Finance & Accounting function within the Chamber. Prior to joining the Chamber in 2006, Ian had built a bank of experience in manufacturing, food-processing and import & distribution with Courtaulds, Unilever, Spillers/Dalgety and Product Express. His role is all-encompassing in the financial field and he is also a fully qualified member of the Export Documentation Team.

Ian has lived in Shrewsbury for almost 30 years and has developed a strong affinity to the County of Shropshire. He supports Shrewsbury Town whilst retaining more than a passing interest in his home club of Nottingham Forest.

Rachel Owen

Rachel works on behalf of the Chamber providing admin support in training and membership.

Previously she has worked within leisure management, recruitment and customer service. This broad spectrum enables Rachel to have a good understanding of the various industries.

Chris provides a varied role within the Chamber, looking after areas such as training, Shropshire Business Awards and Chamber Communications. During his time with Shropshire Chamber he has played an integral part of the membership growth and has also added value to the membership package. Chris represents Shropshire Chamber on a number of West Midlands Chambers committees such as Business Development Group and the Enterprise sub group.

Chris joined us in 2008 after working at various levels in the motor industry; his higher education qualifications include Government and Politics, IT and Business Studies. Chris has a passion for helping Shropshire businesses prosper and works tirelessly with the rest of the team to make this happen.
