MedTech Trade Mission to Argentina and Uruguay

Explore business opportunities in two relevant Mercosur markets! You will learn first-hand about market opportunities, characteristics, and regulations. You will meet key local stakeholders and potential partners in both countries and visit Uruguay’s flagship trade fair.

The UK’s Department for Business & Trade (DBT) invites you to join this trade mission to explore export opportunities in Argentina and Uruguay. Both have sophisticated and import-reliant MedTech markets, with opportunities across a wide variety of subsectors. Local standards are aligned with CE/FDA markings and the UK offer has a strong reputation.

With a population of 47M people, Argentina is the 2nd largest economy in South America after Brazil, and one of the leading markets in LATAM for medical devices. Uruguay is a 3.5M people market with a strong appetite for high quality devices. The country has positioned itself as a gateway to the region, which is underpinned by its strategic location, financial benefits and political and macroeconomic stability.

This trade mission provides a unique opportunity to access expanding MedTech sectors in both countries. Don’t miss out!
