Job description

Salary: £25,000 per annum plus unlimited commission, OTE £36,000 per annum. As with all of our roles, we offer these positions as flexible to meet your needs, so if you wish to work part time hours to fit around other commitments, please apply and let us know your expectations.

Shropshire Chamber is looking for exceptional sales-oriented professionals to recruit and retain new business. You will have a track record of engaging at all levels and building instant rapport in B2B relationships and be excited by the prospect of running your own sales pipeline.

You will be a natural self-starter with the ability to manage and take full responsibility for your results. Personal communication skills will be excellent and you will work alongside the membership team who will assist in promoting and communicating the membership model.

Essential skills will include CRM management and prospecting to find leads.

The role will be responsible for recruiting members and retaining business relationships by ensuring members fully understand and benefit from our many services.

A willingness to set the bar high and achieve targets whilst managing business relationships will be valued highly.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Previous sales experience is a must, if you have previously worked in advertising, recruitment or have a strong B2B background

  • Strong communication skills and confidence in IT

  • A full UK clean driver’s licence

  • Proven ability to achieve targets and manage your workload

  • A team player
