This course is aimed at anybody who carries out manual handling of objects within their work. The aim is to raise awareness of manual handling so you can assist in making healthier and safer working environments to prevent injury or strain.

This course designed to give students the ability to:

Gain an overview of the law relating to manual handling
Gain an understanding of the points on a manual handling risk assessment
Gain an understanding of common injuries caused by poor manual handling, looking at body mechanics and practical techniques to avoid injury.

At the end of this course, students will develop a greater understanding of manual handling so that people carrying out this task can work in a safe and effective manner.

Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

This training course is open to members and non-members however if you are a member then this course could be included as part of your membership level.
