National Call in Sick Day…reasons not to!

According to national statistics the first Monday in February is the day when people are most likely to call in sick, however we urge you to join in on this special one off webinar to learn and understand more about Workplace Health and Wellbeing.

Telford-based Chamber Members Zen Communications have stirred-up national interest (and a few awards nods too) for their brave move in the first lockdown where they permanently abolished the working week. Much more than just a headline-grabber, Zen’s MD Felicity Wingrove will be sharing an insight into the rationale behind the move and an honest account of what it’s meant for the team, the agency, and their clients over the last nine months (to give you a clue, it’s staggeringly good!)

2020 was one of the most challenging years in memory for many of our Members and their teams, which is why we were so delighted to have introduced a brand new category at the Chamber Business Awards 2020. The Workplace Health and Wellbeing category was intended to recognise and celebrate the very best examples of local businesses showing-and-not-telling how important their teams’ wellbeing is to them, and we were blown-away by the responses.

In this special one-off webinar we’re speaking with all three of our Finalists – Oswestry-based Aico, Telford-based Zen Communications, and Shrewsbury-based Shrewsbury Colleges Group – to gain valuable insights into what they did (and are doing now), how it’s working, and their top lessons.’
