Telford businesses are able to benefit from a new grant programme. The Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) can help lower running costs and promote energy efficient businesses.
TSI Packing, based in Telford were awarded £10,408 to install LED lighting and sensors which will save them around £7,000 per year in energy costs.

Worcestershire County Council working alongside local partners Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Telford & Wrekin Council were awarded £1.45 million funding from the Department for Communities and Local Government’s European Regional Development Fund to help small and medium-sized businesses.
BEEP has now been successful in helping a number of businesses in Telford, first of all with a FREE energy assessment followed by grants of up to £20,000 for energy saving projects. Apart from significant savings to their running costs, businesses are also helping the environment by cutting carbon emissions.
The Business Energy Efficiency Programme is part-financed by the England European Regional Development Fund Programme as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
