The purpose of the Shropshire Chamber Members’ Committee is to provide a forum for members to discuss areas of common interest and to provide feedback on existing and proposed Chamber activity. The Commmittee may also discuss items proposed to it by the Chamber.
The Committee represents a cross-section of Chamber members, drawing representation from small, medium and large employers as well as from a diverse range of business areas. The members are from those that hold a standard membership and do not attend the regular networking clubs.
There are 12 Chamber Members, with Chamber staff in attendance as necessary, subject to the agenda. Members serve renewable terms of 2 years.
Members are expected to attend regularly and members who do not attend 2 (50%) of the meetings in 1 year will be asked to step down.
