The privately owned construction company Pave Aways Ltd has been named Shropshire’s best business at our glittering awards ceremony. The Oswestry based construction company with a dedicated team of construction professionals, picked up the Company of the Year award at last night’s Shropshire Chamber Business Awards. They were against strong opposition from Shropshire based Pickstock Ltd, Shropshire Homes and Northwood Hygiene Products who were also up for the top award. The awards ceremony organised by Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and held at Telford International Centre had an audience of approaching 700 people.
Chamber Chief Executive Richard Sheehan said: “The 2019 Shropshire Chamber Business Awards raised the bar and expectations to a new level. The intense excitement was infectious and as always the event was full of glitz and glamour with over 630 people from the Shropshire Business Community coming together recognising and celebrating success was a site to behold.
“Pave Aways Ltd is a worthy winner and we must congratulate them, not only on winning the Company of the Year award at the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards in the face of fierce competition, but having demonstrated the tenacity to keep trying as the business improves, confirming “ if at first you don’t succeed definitely try try again” believe in your business and believe in your people.”
