Shropshire-based IT company Six Ticks enjoyed a hugely successful 2018 and is ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead in 2019, amid a period of economic uncertainty as Brexit approaches.

Launched in 2012, Six Ticks works with businesses of all sizes across the country, developing websites, CRM systems, and apps.

Stephanie Henson, Sales and Operations Director, said: “Last year was an exciting one for us, culminating in the opening of a new office in Chester in September and expanded our team to take on Dan Brown as Regional Sales Manager for that area.

Dan has a wealth of experience in technology, analytics and marketing, he’s an expert in Google data and is already helping customers in getting the best from their websites, apps and systems – so it is set to be a very exciting 2019.

“We have a tremendous relationship with our clients, offering a stress-free high-quality service they can trust, and our goal is always to keep things jargon-free and create amazing systems so they are free to concentrate on what they do best.”

Stephanie says the industry is an ever-developing and exciting one to be part of – and Six Ticks creation of a ground-breaking new app that could solve bed-blocking issues for hospitals is just the beginning.

“Six Ticks is at the cutting edge of the industry and were so proud earlier this year to develop the new app aimed at speeding up the process of discharging patients from hospitals if they need ongoing care,” adds Stephanie.

The Shropshire Partners in Care (SPIC) app provides live updates from residential homes across the county on bed availability easing the transition of the patient from hospital to care home.

We cannot wait to see the difference it makes. There are definitely challenges ahead, not least the uncertainty of growing a small business in times of great economic uncertainty. The Brexit shadow looms large over us and it is difficult to try and predict what impact it will finally have.

“In the meantime we will continue with our plans to grow and develop the business with the aim of helping our clients to understand that investment in IT will save them money in the long term.”
