The Shropshire Chamber Business Awards are celebrating their 25th anniversary – and organisers are promising to put on ‘the greatest show’ for the summer of 2025.
More than 15,000 people have attended the annual awards nights since the competition was launched in 2001, making it one of the largest and most successful events of its kind in the UK. And with a host of special surprises lined up for the silver anniversary, the 2025 ceremony looks set to be one of the biggest, brightest and most exciting ever.
The competition has become recognised as a kitemark of excellence, and winning a trophy is a real badge of honour. Not only can it help you to attract new clients, it is also a huge morale boost for staff. The awards are not just for Chamber members – although they are organised by Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, any business with a base in either the Shropshire or Telford & Wrekin areas can enter.
Winners of the showpiece Company of the Year accolade have come from all corners of the county over the years, including Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Bridgnorth and Ludlow. Could your business be the next to be added to the list?
The event also has a proud track record of raising thousands of pounds for local Shropshire charities – which it will be doing once again this year.
“The awards serve as a magnificent tribute to the exceptional qualities of our local businesses,” says Shropshire Chamber Chief Executive Ruth Ross.
“It is a celebration of business success, to acknowledge and honour our outstanding Shropshire-based businesses and the remarkable individuals within them.”
