This course covers the fundamentals of mental health first aid whilst expanding upon the impact of substance abuse on mental health, incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace.

Identifying mental health conditions
Providing advice and starting a conversation
Stress
Mental health conditions
Drugs and alcohol
First Aid for Mental Health action plan
First Aid for Mental Health in the workplace

A level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental health will be issued to the learner, upon completion of the assessment. This qualification is valid for 3 years from the date of achievement.

This training course is open to members and non-members however if you are a member then this course could be included as part of your membership level.
