This course would follow the Customs course or can be provided standalone for those who are only interested in Importing Procedures. It would be suitable for those currently working in an import environment who have never had any formal training or those wanting a refresher course.
This course is part of the BCC Foundation Award which can be taken as a group of 6 to achieve the award or it can be undertaken on its own.

The course provides an overview of the end-to-end import process and reviews all the areas that would be applicable to a new supplier, to include country and supplier risk, payment risk etc. It will review documentation requirements and how to ensure goods are imported successfully to include duty payments and include an overview of the available Special Procedures.
