Potential suppliers are being invited to find out information about doing business with their local NHS in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

Shropshire Healthcare Procurement Service, the procurement arm of the NHS in the county, is holding a ‘Meet the buyer – do business with the NHS’ event on Friday 14 July, at The Croud Meadow Stadium, Shrewsbury Town Football Club, Oteley Road, Shrewsbury.

The service, which is part of Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care System (ICS), represents The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH), The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust.

Potential suppliers are invited to drop in between 10am and 3pm (no pre-booking required) and meet the Procurement Team. They will also have the chance to chat with some of our staff from Estates, Catering, the Hospital Transformation Programme, Workforce and Recruitment departments that will be in attendance.

James Richards, Deputy Director of Procurement at Shropshire Healthcare Procurement Service, said: “This is an excellent event to find out about doing business with your local NHS. You will be able to ask staff from our healthcare system about how you go about becoming a potential supplier and you will probably be surprised at the many opportunities available.”
