Support available to become Disability Confident Employer
The Employer Disability Support Service has been set up by Enable to work with organisations to achieve, maintain and move through the Disability Confident Standard as well as supporting further with equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
This fully funded programme aims to support businesses to achieve the “committed” standard over the course of three sessions.
The programme will cover issues around disability, inclusivity and accessibility in business and includes:

The recruitment process

Communicating and promoting vacancies

The interview process
-
Reasonable adjustments
-
Supporting existing employees
Employers will also be provided with all the one to one support needed to register for the Disability Confident scheme and to implement the changes needed to achieve this.
