Level 3 BTEC Education and Training Award at Telford College 3rd February 2026

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) is ideal for individuals who are new to teaching or training and want to gain a recognised introductory qualification in the education sector. It is particularly beneficial for:

• Aspiring teachers and trainers who want to work in further education colleges, adult and community learning, or private training organisations.
• Workplace trainers or assessors who deliver in-house training or support staff development within their organisation. • Industry professionals (for example, in health and social care, construction, hair and beauty, or hospitality) who wish to share their expertise by teaching or training others.
• Teaching assistants or support staff looking to progress into a teaching role. 
• Volunteers or community tutors who deliver informal education or training sessions and want to develop their teaching practice.

By completing the qualification, learners gain practical skills in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning sessions, along with theoretical understanding of inclusive teaching, assessment methods, and professional responsibilities. It helps build confidence in presenting, engaging learners, and managing a classroom or training environment effectively, providing a strong foundation for further teaching qualifications or career progression.

Session times are 09:15am - 3:30pm on the following dates: Tuesday 3rd February 2026, Tuesday 24th February 2026, Tuesday 10th March 2026, Tuesday 24th March 2026, Tuesday 14th April 2026, Tuesday 28th April 2026.

Cost: £550 per delegate (discount available for group bookings, POA)
