Be part of our iconic Dragon Boat Festival in 2025. A great day for team-building, enjoying our beautiful local surroundings and supporting a cause close to many people’s hearts.
As well as being the biggest, and most exhilarating, charity event on the River Severn, it has helped us to raise over £474,000 for our hospice care.
Based on the banks of the River Severn in Shrewsbury, the DBF is an opportunity to get colleagues, friends and family together to race other teams in 40ft Dragon Boats to be crowned DBF 2025 winners!
Your team entry fee will include your own team tent where you can bring down your own food and drink (including gas BBQs) and invite others to support you and your team and join in the carnival atmosphere.
We ask that each team commits to raising a minimum of £1,000 (excluding entry fee) towards our hospice care.
Each year, we support around 3000 families facing heartbreak – this care is free, but not without cost - this year, the hospice has to find an extra £1 million as our running costs have risen sharply, so every pound in sponsorship will make a difference.
So, find your captain, your crew members and your drummer, get on board and join us for the best charity event on the River Severn! The carnival atmosphere and the team camaraderie are second to none!
Please note, Saturday 19th July is now fully booked, although you can still come down to the event and spectate!
