To celebrate becoming a Patron of the Shropshire Chamber, Paycare has launched a dedicated campaign designed to highlight the importance of workplace wellbeing and strengthen its support of local businesses.

Chamber members may already have spotted a surprise package arriving in the office - a Wellbeing Toolbox filled with helpful resources, information, and wellbeing-inspired items. The Toolbox offers fellow Chamber members an introduction to Paycare while encouraging conversations around how businesses can enhance employee health and wellbeing.

This initiative reflects Paycare’s ongoing commitment to supporting Chamber members and their teams. As a not-for-profit organisation with strong roots locally, Paycare has been championing community health since 1874. Today, it provides Health Cash Plans (HCPs) to businesses across the UK, helping employees reclaim everyday healthcare costs while giving employers simple ways to foster a culture of wellbeing in the workplace.

Ant Burns, Paycare’s CEO, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be a Patron of the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, and sending out our special Wellbeing Toolboxes is our way of saying hello to our fellow members, sharing stories from some of our local policyholders, and inspiring discussions around supporting workplace wellbeing. We believe that healthy, happy employees are vital to the success of every business, and we’re committed to supporting Chamber members in achieving just that.”

The campaign also shines a light on Paycare’s community impact. As part of their local focus, Paycare recently asked Shropshire-based customers to shortlist three local charities who could benefit from support in 2026, and Chamber members will have the chance to get involved in deciding which one receives the final vote.

Ant concluded: “Any member that hasn’t received a Wellbeing Toolbox and would like one, and/or would simply like to learn more about how Paycare can support their organisation’s wellbeing strategy, please do get in touch with our team directly at This email address is being protected from spambots.
