An organisation on a mission to improve employee health and happiness has stepped in to sponsor Shropshire Wellbeing Day.

Paycare has been announced as a main sponsor for the inaugural event, which is set to take place on Wednesday 23rd June.

The not-for-profit organisation specialises in Health Cash Plans and Mental Health Training, helping organisations including many within Shropshire to look after the physical, emotional and financial wellbeing of their staff.

Commercial Director Anthony Burns explained: “We’re thrilled to be supporting the first-ever Shropshire Wellbeing Day. It’s such a great idea to get businesses from across the county involved in activities which will not only be fun and helpful on the day itself, but will make a long-term impact too.”

The day will see businesses who’ve signed up taking part in activities and competitions designed by a range of wellness providers, and taking a step towards wellbeing in the workplace.

It is being hosted on 23rd June to coincide with World Wellbeing Week.

Organiser Laura Butler said: “We are thrilled that an influential and progressive wellbeing organisation such as Paycare have sponsored Shropshire’s first Wellbeing Day.

“Their involvement will help us spread the message and help us change the face of wellness in the workplace.”
