As Director of Business Development and Knowledge Exchange at Harper Adams University, he champions innovation and collaboration, helping businesses and students thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Alastair has led transformative projects worth millions, from digital innovation partnerships to skills development programs. His work has supported over 100 businesses, created new jobs, and delivered cutting-edge digital products. Beyond strategy and leadership, he’s a hands-on mentor, guiding students, academics, and start-ups to unlock their potential.

Alastair is deeply committed to regional growth and social impact. He works with local councils, industry leaders, and charities to drive innovation and entrepreneurial opportunities, including supporting disadvantaged young people through Launch IT. When he’s not shaping enterprise strategies, you’ll find him championing cultural change initiatives and exploring new ways to embed entrepreneurial thinking into education.
