Shropshire Chamber of Commerce has been granted funding to improve their recently purchased accommodation at 5 Henry Close in Shrewsbury.
This funding will enable refurbishment of the building ensuring it is fit for purpose, fit for members and also energy efficient.
The purpose of this accommodation will be to create a greater offering to their members with enhanced facilities of a members meeting lounge, hot desks and further training and meeting rooms in a convenient location in Shrewsbury, satisfying members requests for a presence in the town.
Shropshire Chamber has members across the county of Shropshire with around 30% based in Shrewsbury.This alongside their current offices in Telford will provide greater resources and opportunities for their members and assist with further growth and development for the wider Shropshire business community.
The project has received £81,000 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund.
