This fully funded course for Shropshire Council area SMEs (there really is no catch, it won't cost the business a thing if you meet the eligibility criteria) will provide you with a brief overview of the key concepts of Digital Marketing, including; Search Engine Optimisation, social media, content marketing, PPC, and email marketing. It will no doubt give you a to-do list and will give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to do more or improve what you currently do.

You will be provided with a brief overview of the key concepts covering the following areas:

- Website Optimisation and SEO

- Social Media Marketing for Small Businesses: Choosing the right platforms, overview of the platforms; content creation; engagement strategies; running ads.

- Content Marketing and Blogging

- Email Marketing Basics

- Analytics and Measuring Success

- Practical Tips and Tools

- Local Case Studies

- Action Plan for Small Businesses

Kirsty Smallman, director of J&PR Ltd, has been an affiliated trainer for Shropshire Chamber of Commerce for nearly a decade and runs several PR and marketing courses with enthusiasm bringing the theory to life with practical examples. Kirsty likes to deep dive into your business and what you should be marketing.

This course is fully funded by UK Government through the United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund. You do not need to be a Chamber member, but you do need to have fewer than 250 employees and be in the Shropshire Council Local Authority area (charities are not eligible).
