An award-winning construction company which has been celebrated as one of the county’s fastest growing businesses has become a Patron of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce.
Shuker Building and Development, based in Shrewsbury, delivers tailored construction, refurbishment, and property solutions for homes, businesses, and community organisations across Shropshire and the wider UK.
Commercial director Robert Parry said: “Becoming a Patron is a natural step for us. As a business founded and built in Shropshire, we’ve always believed that success isn’t just about growing a business - it’s about playing an active role in supporting the wider business community and contributing to the long-term success of our county.
“We’re joining the patronage programme because we want to build stronger relationships with fellow business leaders, collaborate on new opportunities, share knowledge and continue learning from some of the region’s most respected organisations.
“We see it as an opportunity to work alongside businesses that share the same ambition to make Shropshire an even better place to live, work and invest.”
The company won the Outstanding Business Growth title at this year’s Shropshire Chamber Business Awards, describing it as a ‘significant milestone’ in its journey.
Robert added: “As Shuker Group continues to grow, we’re equally passionate about giving something back. Whether that’s supporting local initiatives, championing social value, creating opportunities or simply sharing our experiences with others, we believe businesses have an important role to play beyond their day-to-day operations.
“We hope to contribute positively to the Chamber and its members, while continuing to develop new partnerships that benefit both our business and the wider Shropshire economy.”
Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s Patron programme is designed to give businesses the opportunity to raise awareness of their organisations, and express their commitment to the success of the local business community.
Ruth Ross, Shropshire Chamber chief executive, said: “The objective is to generate ideas, enthusiasm and dynamic business opportunities and to feed this back through Shropshire Chamber and onwards to the county’s businesses as a whole.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Shuker Building and Development to the patronage programme, which is designed enhance long-term relationships, driving both profitability and community connection - making them a strategic asset in today’s competitive marketplace.”
