Roché’s impressive al-fresco living showroom, showcasing a wide selection of the products they have to offer from stunning German made Awnings and Glass Rooms to the impressive Louvred Roof system from Renson, all designed to help you make the most of your outdoor space, turned one on the 11th April.

To celebrate they held an anniversary event, with specials guests and guest speakers, great food and wonderful fizz.

The event was attended by Oswestry Mayor, Jay Moore and Hope House were represented by Vicky Bradbeer, where they raised over £195 from a raffle, with Roche then contributing a further £500.

Food on the evening came from Oswestry based Black Forest Deli and the wonderful welcome Fizz was kindly sponsored by Momentum Wines.

Their special guest speaker was Mr. Ken Roscoe from Stretton Old Hall Gardens, ably supported by his Head Gardener Stephen Gore

Stretton Old Hall is an award winning, 5-acre, Cheshire countryside garden divided into discreet, individual gardens.  Having recently been crowned Channel 4 Garden of The Year for 2022.

Mixing herbaceous borders, a scree garden, a walled kitchen garden and a glasshouse, the planting style is best described as controlled exuberance and from the pictures on show and the knowledge and enthusiasm of both Ken & Stephen this is a must visit garden.

Ken discussed some of the projects he works on and where the inspiration came from for the stunning gardens at Stretton Old Hall. 

Questions then flowed and between Ken and Stephen the audience left with all their questions answered.
