McPhillips Wellington have recently pledged their support for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity by signing up to their ‘Brew For The Crew’ initiative, offering rest stop facilities for the local Critical Care Car team.

The paramedics in these critical care cars are on standby in and around urban areas, enabling them to respond swiftly to local incidents.

Val Hardy, Company Secretary at McPhillips, commented: “The Critical Care Car Team enables the highly trained critical care paramedics to reach and offer early advanced medical intervention to patients with serious medical conditions. We are delighted to support their vital work by offering the team a cuppa and somewhere to rest when they need it”.

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We have had a terrific response from local organisations offering their space as a Brew for the Crew location. Our advanced rapid response team of critical care paramedics often attend missions back-to-back, which is why a rest stop is so important.”
