Based at The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital in Oswestry, The Movement Centre is a UK charity and specialist treatment centre, dedicated to supporting children and their families living with movement difficulties. Working with children dealing with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other movement disorders. Through a course of Targeted Training therapy, children can gain head control, help them to sit unaided, address specific motor delays, muscle weakness, and coordination difficulty. For some children it can enable them to walk, which means they can be far more independent. With their specialist children’s physiotherapy, children at the centre have been able to transform their movement, paving the way for a brighter, independent future, where every child can reach their full potential.

Aico, a leader in home life safety and also based in Oswestry, have a long-standing partnership and commitment to supporting The Movement Centre, whether that be through financial contribution through colleague fundraising, or hosting events.
