A west midlands charity are leading the way on building mental health resilience in the community.

Following reports from both the BMA and mental health England identifying community resilience as one of the most important post pandemic issues we face, Kaleidoscope Plus Group are hosting a 2-day virtual conference in January to kick start its campaign. Mending Minds 2022 will take place on 26th-27th of January from 9 am to 4pm each day.

Attendees will here from 5 inspirational speakers all of whom have been on the most incredible journeys, be able to attend coping strategy workshops and become part of a wider community of mental health champions.

Gary Wheway head of events commented "this event is so important for communities up and down the UK. By attending the event delegates will leave the conference with a deeper understanding of the importance of self care and the knowledge to pass on to others. Its a great way to start the new year,"

It is hoped the event will also kick start the recruitment and development of a network of mental health community champions.
