A charity dedicated to supporting young people has been awarded a prestigious accolade by Telford & Wrekin Council.
It is the second time the Youth Accreditation Mark has been given to the 4 All Foundation, recognising the team’s commitment to delivering high-quality services and activities.
Launched in 2022, the Foundation runs projects across community hubs, schools and other venues in the area – all aimed at meeting the needs and raising the aspirations of young people.
George Hounsell, Director of Community at 4 All, explains: “We are delighted to have been awarded the Youth Accreditation Mark again this year, which shows the council acknowledges our dedication to excellence in youth services.
“The accolade is an external recognition of how effective our programmes are in promoting the health, wellbeing and personal development of young people across Telford and Wrekin.
“We are extremely proud to have been awarded for the second time, and we are hugely thankful to our fantastic team of staff, volunteers and trustees who make it possible for us to undertake our work and positively impact so many children and young people. We have some really exciting plans for 2025, and would love to encourage anyone interested in attending a programme or working in partnership with us to get in touch.”
The 4 All Foundation works alongside local councils, communities, other charities and education providers to meet the needs of communities across Shropshire and the surrounding counties. Their wide range of activities, clubs, workshops and programmes are all aimed at: advancing the education of local people to develop skills, achieve qualifications and create employability opportunities; promoting and protecting health and wellbeing; supporting those disadvantaged by youth, age, ill-health, disability, or finances; and relieving poverty.
