Sam Haydon, Fundraising Manager of Stay, attended Shropshire Chamber's recent Telford Network Club and, in her 60 seconds, announced the return of The Telford Sleep Out event. Sam is a longstanding regular at chamber events and networking, and a familiar face to many members.

Stay and KiP, two incredible charities supporting homeless and vulnerable people in Telford & Wrekin, are hosting The Telford Sleep Out at Madeley Cricket Club on Friday 10th October, which is also World Homeless Day & World Mental Health Day. Local people, businesses and community groups will brave a night outdoors and swap their bed for a box to raise awareness of the complex issues around homelessness and raise vital funds.

Sam came along with a clever prop to talk about the event and said, “We'd love you to Sleep Out with us. We promise a fun filled and impactful evening. Book on your own, with family, friends, colleagues, team mates...all are welcome. Or join us in spirit and raise awareness for the 'unseen' homeless with a Sleep Out At Home or at a work or community space.”

“We also have some fantastic corporate sponsorship opportunities and volunteer roles available. Your kind support of The Telford Sleep Out in any way is much appreciated. You’ll be helping Stay and KiP continue to provide local people with the support they need - a safe and secure place to call home, hope and stability.”
