Staff and supporters of The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) will be joining forces to complete the Chirk 10k fundraiser, on Sunday 13th July 25.
RJAH Charity has teamed up with Adrenaline Sports to deliver the event. Members of staff will be joined by patients, volunteers and local businesses to blaze a trail around the wonderful Chirk Castle grounds and surrounding scenic countryside.
RJAH Charity has 50 free places, with each runner pledging to raise £100 in sponsorship, and all money raised going back to the hospital.
The Chirk 10k is part of RJAH Charity’s 20Thrive campaign, encompassing a year of sporting events and a programme of fundraising activities.
20Thrive is designed to help people easily access organised sporting events and simultaneously raise vital funds for the hospital. It is hoped that the programme will help people to try a new activity and promote the wellbeing of participants.
Whether it's running, cycling, swimming, or another challenge, 20Thrive provides an opportunity for people of all abilities to take part, have fun and make a real difference.
