Two Shropshire Chamber members have recently joined forces in an unusual, but heartwarming collaboration to support local tourism, sustainability, and community engagement – by kitting out a brand-new pygmy goat pen.

Ash Plumbing & Bathrooms teamed with Frankly Farm Tours to sponsor and transform the space for three newly arrived pygmy goats – Thomas, Tod, and Tucker.

The idea was born when Fran Ash, Business Development Manager at Ash Plumbing & Bathrooms, met John and Natalie from Frankly Farm Tours and pitched an idea of supporting one another.

“We absolutely love what John and Natalie are building at Frankly Farm Tours and wanted to find creative ways in which we could work together. When they mentioned sponsoring the new goat pen, we jumped at the chance to help.  It was the perfect excuse to spend a sunny Saturday in the countryside, surrounded by animals - and to put some leftover bathroom materials to good use too.”

The resulting setup is as imaginative as it is eco-conscious: the goats now enjoy clambering on a repurposed freestanding bath, nibbling hay from a stylish toilet feeder, and hopping up chrome towel rails to a rooftop viewpoint.

The work took place over a hands-on Saturday, with Fran, her husband Dave and the Ash Plumbing & Bathroom team spending the day on site constructing and securing the enrichment features.

“This collaboration is a perfect example of how Shropshire Chamber members can support one another in fun and creative ways – combining our skillsets for the greater good. We’re excited for what’s to come!”

Ash Plumbing & Bathrooms and Frankly Farm Tours already have plans to work together on future community-focused projects, with more announcements to come very soon!
