When Tim from the Llanfyllin Community Initiative (LCI) asked for some help building a new bike track in Llanfyllin, Ridgway Rentals offered everything he needed to get the job done.

Tim Foster, also the owner of Revolution Bike Park in Llangynog, contacted Ridgway Rentals for assistance with his latest project back in June. The project was in the final stages of planning but needed an excavator and dumper to prepare the groundwork for a free to use bike track behind Llanfyllin school. The project was designed to give something for the young people to do in the village to help build their skills in mountain biking and general fitness.

Tim contacted Ridgway Rentals asking for equipment for his non-profit project and Ridgway Rentals were all to happy to help with free use of a dumper and a JCB 140x with included transport to Llanfyllin.

Adam Jermaine-Jones from Ridgway Rentals explained 'We believe that projects like this help support our local community, and we were happy to offer assistance in order to benefit local young people and families.'

A day before the hire, Tim called and asked for an additional 5 ton excavator as his had broken down, Ridgway Rentals again stepped in and provided the third machine at short notice to assist Tim in the completion of this fantastic project.

The LCI has worked tirelessly to provide this much needed resource to the local people of Llanfyllin. There is still work to be done, but Ridgway Rentals were happy to have played a part in this extraordinary project for the community of Llanfyllin.
