Stay and KiP, two brilliant charities supporting homeless and vulnerable people in Telford & Wrekin, are hosting The Telford Sleep Out at Madeley Cricket Club on Friday 10th October, which is also World Homeless Day & World Mental Health Day.

Sam Haydon, Fundraising Manager for Stay shared the latest plans with us… “The Telford Sleep Out is shaping up to be a great community event. We’ve received a lot of interest from Shropshire Chamber of Commerce members and we’re incredibly grateful to those who have already signed up and also to our wonderful event sponsors, Reclaim Tax UK Ltd, Fiveways Insurance Group and ZB People & Culture Consulting.”

“We’ve lined up some fab entertainment for everyone to enjoy. The joyful TACT community choir, A Choired Taste, will be lending their beautiful voices to the event. Plus, Angel, an amazing young singer and the super talented magician, Jack Dent, are also popping along to wow everyone. There will be refreshments, a quiz and the bar is open till midnight. And for those who make it to 6am, there’s a free breakfast!”

“So, if you haven’t already signed up, why not do something amazing this Autumn by taking on the challenge of sleeping out with Stay & KiP - you’ll be helping to change the lives of vulnerable and homeless local people.”
