Commercial agents and the Shropshire business community gathered this week at Morris Property’s Stadium Point Business Park for the opening of its first of four completed Office buildings on zone one and to hear an inspirational talk by international Rugby Union Referee Nigel Owens.
Guests arrived to enjoy a gastro breakfast courtesy of Wild Street Kitchen* before watching Nigel Owens cut the ribbon on the 4,960 ft2 offices and subsequently entertain them with a fascinating insight into his life as a world class referee.
Morris Property has now completed the first six commercial units on its 28 acre site with units ranging between 5,285 ft2 to 10,000 ft2, and now brings to market this first high spec office building.
With its sleek contemporary design, plenty of natural light and a flexible floorplate it allows the occupier to create its own bespoke office space. The detached Grade A unit is laid out on two floors, designed with sustainability in mind with floor to ceiling glazing, sensor-controlled LED lighting, PV Solar panels and EV charging as well as a self-contained car parking area.
Morris Property’s Head of Development Liz Lowe commented:
“Here at Stadium Point we like to host events to share our progress on the business park. As well as being a great networking opportunity, it allows agents and the wider business community to see for themselves the kind of environment and sustainable units we are creating here. Today was about showcasing the look and feel of the office buildings we intend to develop, with bright, spacious, high spec finishes and seeing this unit’s prominent position at the entrance to the park - as well as enjoying the fascinating talk from Nigel.
“As an organisation we are committed to building a greener future for tenants and next Spring’s planting season will see us commencing the landscaped areas which, once complete, will cover 7,500m2 here at Stadium Point.” Liz added.
Stadium Point’s sole agent, Toby Shaw from TSR commented: “We are delighted to have already welcomed a number of new owner occupiers to Stadium Point, some local and regional businesses who have chosen the Park, attracted by its innovative features and prime location.
“Feedback from our new occupiers reinforces the fact that businesses are looking for flexible, high quality units which can be tailored exactly to a client’s spec. Plus, being situated here on the south side of Shrewsbury, this location offers easy access to the road network as well as close proximity to many leisure and shopping facilities.”
Stadium Point Business Park is Morris Property’s largest commercial development to date, with consent for 33 high-quality units across the prime 28-acre site on the south site of Shrewsbury.
