iconsys were thrilled to have an opportunity to represent the voice of intelligent integration at today’s Shropshire Chamber of commerce Sustainability event at Lilleshall National Sports Centre. The event was hosted by Andy Whyle, a long-standing advocate of Sustainability West Midlands.
Our Head of Marine & Ports, Jordan Tassell and QHSE Manager, Graham Cowan presented alongside experts from Kfactory, Purple Frog, Staysafe PPE and Shropshire and Telford Community Energy, discussing AI for sustainability and how businesses can adopt intelligent, responsible technologies to deliver long-term environmental and economic value.
A key example is our innovative clean shore power system, which demonstrates how microgrids can intelligently manage and distribute renewable energy, reduce diesel emissions and connect seamlessly to the grid.
By integrating battery storage and control technologies, these systems enable flexible energy use and even the ability to export excess power, helping our customers move closer to net zero.
Events like this highlight the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing to accelerate the sustainable transformation of UK industry.
