Exotic Zoo based in Telford Town Park is offering Shropshire businesses an alternative way to celebrate the festive season.

This December, you can book a work Christmas party at the Shropshire Zoo, to celebrate with colleagues and their families.

Exotic Zoo is opening a new Santa’s Grotto and themed Christmas Village. You can visit their new Santa’s Grotto in the heart of the zoo and enjoy festive treats and seasonal food and drink in the Candy Cane Café for a special evening.

The Christmas Village will be an evening experience with twinkling lights guiding visitors around the festive market stalls at the zoo. There will also be carnival games for all ages, food and drink, and Santa’s grotto under the stars.

Scott Adams, managing director at Exotic Zoo, said, “Christmas should be about spending time together and making memories. So instead of a turkey lunch at a local pub, I’m inviting businesses to book their Christmas celebration here at the zoo.

“Teams can take a visit to our Christmas Village and enjoy mulled wine and the festive, twinkly atmosphere at the market. If you want to get families involved too, they can visit Santa under the Stars.

“We have kept some evenings free so businesses can exclusively hire the Christmas village for a private works party so you can enjoy the festive magic as a company. The hire also includes Santa so families children can meet Santa and get a gift, saving them time and money during the Christmas season.”

The zoo is based in Telford Town Park and is split into a rainforest zone, desert zone, nocturnal area, farmyard, and natural history museum.
