The region's primary cancer charity has launched a cosy festive fundraiser to help boost funds to support local people affected by cancer.

Lingen Davies Cancer Support is holding a Christmas Pyjama Day on Friday, 12th December and is calling for local businesses, families, and friends to 'dig out their favourite festive pyjamas' to make a positive difference this December.

Steph Smith, Head of Philanthropy at Lingen Davies said: "This is such a fun event because anyone can take part. You could be working in the office or at home, winding a group or school class down for Christmas, or organising a festive celebration with friends while wearing your comfiest pyjamas.

"The event isn't just a great excuse to wear a festive pair of pyjamas all day, it's also an opportunity to raise life-changing funds to continue supporting people affected by cancer in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Mid Wales. One in two people will now be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime so you never know what's around the corner. That's why it's so important that you help us, help you."

Everyone taking part will receive a free poster and social media graphic to promote their participation. Just email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to register your interest.
