November 2025 has been particularly busy for KEIM Mineral Paints during which they were recognised for their continued commitment to a sustainable, circular economy in a long heritage dating back to 1878.

 

First, the German Sustainability Award 2026 in the ‘Coatings and Paint’ category, which will be presented in Düsseldorf on the 5th December 2025. This is the most important award of its kind in Europe; judged by 240 industry experts, it honours companies that have set standards to help future-proof a more sustainable world.

Vanessa Fox, Commercial Manager for KEIM UK stated, ‘Sustainability has been our primary core value since 1878. Today our products cover the decorative spectrum and include paints for interiors, exteriors, plasters, renders, colourwashes and even finishes that help preserve concrete. For the last 150 years, our mission has been to pioneer innovation with mineral paint products.

Most recently (6th November), KEIM were presented with ‘The Architects’ Darling Award’ for the 15th time in Germany.  Managed by Heinze Verlag, who surveyed around 2,000 architects and planners as well as 64 industry experts, it recognises the most innovative manufacturers in the construction industry. The award is an appreciation of brands that make visions possible!

Lastly at least for now, KEIM received the Circularity Champion Award during the Responsible Leadership Conference in Frankfurt.

Vanessa Fox went on to add, ‘We became Cradle to Cradle Certified in 2022; a certification that assesses and recognises products designed for a circular economy. Since 2024 over 85% of our global paint sales are Cradle to Cradle Certified. Combine that with the awards we received recently, and collectively this defines KEIM as the most certified paint in the world.
