Paycare has rounded off 2025 by further strengthening its commitment to its local communities. With a new strategy to tackle evolving health needs, the organisation continues to champion charities, youth initiatives, grassroots sport, and local culture - building on a 150-year legacy of supporting Shropshire and the wider region.

“2025 saw us launch a bold new strategy designed to meet the evolving health needs of our communities. Our focus goes beyond simply delivering essential health services - it’s about investing our time, expertise and resources into the people, organisations and initiatives that make our communities stronger, healthier and more resilient. Whether through partnerships, mentoring, fundraising or on-the-ground support, we want to ensure that everyone has access to the help and opportunities they need to thrive.”
Highlights from Paycare’s 2025 community initiatives include:
- Molineux Sleepout | Team members joined the annual Molineux Sleepout in aid of the Wolves Foundation and the Good Shepherd, raising vital funds to support people experiencing homelessness in Wolverhampton.
- MyGiving Donation Scheme | Through Paycare’s employee-led scheme, the team continued to champion local charities and projects supporting homelessness services, mental health and wellbeing initiatives, youth and education projects, and grassroots sport
- Local Partnerships | Paycare strengthened its ties with community partners including the Wolves Foundation, the Grand Theatre, the Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust, as well as Wolverhampton Council through its sponsorship of ‘Christmas in the City’, including the light show and festive markets. The team also continued to strengthen relationships with the University of Wolverhampton, paving the way for exciting future collaborations
- Grassroots Sports Support | Paycare sponsored Darlaston Town Football Club for another season and continued partnerships promoting physical activity and wellbeing, including support for local youth and sports groups
- Charity Fundraising | The team supported a range of local charities, including Beacon, Wolverhampton MS Centre and WalkOnceMore.
- Wellbeing Toolbox | To mark its Patronage of the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, Paycare launched its Wellbeing Toolbox campaign - encouraging positive workplace conversations around health and wellbeing and showcasing its commitment to supporting local employers.
Ant concluded: “Collaboration has been the driving force behind everything we’ve achieved this year. From supporting local charities and empowering young people to helping address widening health inequalities, every action matters. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to build on our existing partnerships, and we look forward to revealing new collaborations that will help us support even more people within our communities.
