Morris Property has expanded its community investment by sponsoring five-year-old Jake Busby as he competes in the ACU Moto Mavericks British Championship. Born and raised in Telford, Jake has recently advanced into the SW Auto class on his KTM SX50 motorbike and represents the dedication and ambition the company is proud to support.

The £300 sponsorship will contribute towards Jake’s tyres for the season and essential spare parts - helping to support his progress as he takes on competitive national racing at such a young age.

Jake is coached by Steven Clarke, a former world champion, known for his title as the Junior World 85cc Champion in 2005.

His father, Tom Busby, a former British Superbike and European motocross competitor and now a respected British MX technician said:

“Watching Jake grow in confidence and skill at just five years old is incredible. His determination is inspiring, and this support from Morris Property means the world to us as he continues to chase his dreams.”

As part of its commitment to investing in the communities where it builds, Morris Property is delighted to support Jake’s motocross ambitions. The company is currently leading the redevelopment of Oakengates town centre on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council and continues to champion local talent and grassroots initiatives.

James West, Chief Operating Officer of Morris Property commented:

“We’re thrilled to support such a promising young rider from Telford. Jake’s passion and dedication at such a young age are remarkable, and we look forward to following his progress throughout the championship.”
