People across Shropshire are invited to join us for the 2026 Living Well with Dementia, Sight and Hearing Loss Exhibition, taking place on Tuesday 16 June 2026 from 10.00am to 3.00pm at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury.

Delivered in partnership by Community Resource and Sight Loss Shropshire and  Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury and Oswestry, the exhibition will bring together more than 70 organisations offering advice, information, services and hands on support in one place. The event is free to attend.

“This event is so important because people living with dementia, sight loss or hearing loss, and the people who care for them, often struggle to find clear information and support in one place. By bringing together around 70 organisations, it helps people discover services, advice and practical tools that support independence and wellbeing.

It is also a chance to speak directly with experts and connect with others who understand the challenges.

The exhibition is designed for anyone living with dementia, sight loss or hearing loss, as well as family members, carers and professionals. Visitors can expect friendly conversations, practical demonstrations and useful guidance to help them stay independent and connected. There will be opportunities to try equipment, explore new technology and learn more about what support is available across Shropshire.

This year’s event also offers a free shuttle bus from Shrewsbury bus and train stations, sponsored by Housing Plus Group, making travel easier for attendees. The Hearing Hub drop in, sponsored by In The Loop, will offer free support for NHS hearing aid users, including retubing and advice from audiology staff.
