iconsys is proud to be announced as the employer partner for the Thomas Telford School Year 8 Science Fair 2026.

The team recently welcomed Jo Flynn MCIPD, Deputy Head and Director of Careers and Industry Links at Thomas Telford School, to the iconsys Technology Hub for filming as part of the initiative.

Supporting educational programmes like this is a key priority for iconsys. The partnership aims to inspire the next generation by showcasing real-world applications of STEM, while helping students better understand the wide range of career opportunities available within the industry.

As part of the competition, Year 8 students will develop their own scientific ideas, collaborate in teams and present their projects to a panel of judges in July. The programme is designed to encourage creativity, curiosity and innovation among young people at a formative stage in their education.

iconsys is delighted to play a role in supporting the initiative and looks forward to seeing the ideas and enthusiasm the students bring to this year’s event.
