One of Shropshire’s longest-running agricultural shows has been boosted by a new three-year sponsorship deal with a county building firm.
Shuker Group has committed to a three-year partnership with Shropshire County Show, reinforcing its support for the county’s flagship rural event, which takes place on Saturday May 23 at the DMOS People West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury.
The agreement will see Shuker Group provide both financial backing and practical support in the lead-up to each show, helping ensure its continued success and growth.
Rob Parry, commercial director of Shuker Group, said the company was proud to strengthen its relationship with the show through a long-term commitment.
He said; “We’re delighted to be continuing our support of the Shropshire County Show as Show Partner.
“After a fantastic experience last year, committing to a three-year partnership is about more than sponsorship - it reflects our belief in the importance of the show and our desire to provide long-term stability and support for its future.
“It’s a key event for the county, bringing together agriculture, local businesses and the wider community. We’re proud to play a part in helping it grow and thrive now and in the future.”
Arthur Hill, Shropshire County Show secretary, welcomed the continued backing from Shuker Group.
“Support from local businesses is absolutely vital to the success of the show, so we are thrilled that Shuker Group has committed to a three-year partnership with us,” he said.
“Their contribution, both financially and through hands-on support, makes a real difference as we prepare the showground and deliver a fantastic experience for visitors.
“We look forward to building on this relationship and welcoming the Shuker team and their guests to the show for many years to come.”
Shropshire County Show continues to attract thousands of visitors each year, with a packed programme of entertainment, livestock competitions and family-friendly activities.
