Telford-based personalised workwear supplier, MyWorkwear, is celebrating a successful 2025/26 financial year as the business enters its 50th year.
A key milestone for the custom clothing provider in 2025/26 was the launch of a new website, following a six-figure investment into its digital platform. The upgrade has significantly improved the online purchasing experience, making it faster and more intuitive for customers. It has also enabled the business to enhance its customer ordering portals, giving companies a more streamlined and flexible way to manage their workwear orders.
Continuing its focus on digital innovation, MyWorkwear has also invested around £10,000 into AI development. Supported by funding from Telford & Wrekin Council, the project has been delivered in partnership with local businesses Aspire Vita and European Innovations Ltd, helping to introduce cutting-edge technologies into the business.
Further investment has been made into production capabilities, with the support of a Telford UKSPF grant contributing towards the purchase of a state-of-the-art embroidery machine, worth nearly £50,000. This has expanded the company’s capacity and enabled it to deliver even higher-quality embroidery on more intricate designs. The investment comes as the business continues to grow its customer base, having now supplied workwear to more than 50,000 businesses across the country.
Sustainability has also been a priority over the past year. With approximately £6,000 of support from the Business Energy Advice Service, as part of an £11,000 project, MyWorkwear has installed a new, energy-efficient heating system to replace an ageing setup. The upgrade has created a warmer working environment while reducing overall energy costs.
Following a year of strong growth and investment, the company is now looking ahead to an exciting 2026/27. Plans include a new partnership with the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and a year-long programme of activity to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Kicking off in May, the anniversary celebrations will include free gifts for 50 customers every month for the next year so businesses looking for new workwear are encouraged to get their orders in.
