The Shrewsbury office of legal firm ORJ has continued its growth with the appointment of a new Legal Assistant.

Millie Leech has joined the firm’s property team and follows the recent appointment of Nicola Fury as Conveyancing Director, alongside the welcome return of experienced solicitor Sian Wolstenholme from maternity leave.

ORJ has offices in Shrewsbury, Stafford and Birmingham, supporting clients across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the wider West Midlands. The firm offers a wide range of legal services including business, litigation, family law, conveyancing and wills.

ORJ also has strong expertise in agricultural law, advising on matters including animal leasing agreements, grazing agreements, sales of farming land to developers, and sporting and mineral rights.

Millie joins the practice after completing an undergraduate Law degree at Nottingham Trent University.

Millie said: “I’m really excited to join ORJ, which has a fantastic reputation across the region. I’ve settled in really well and everyone has been so welcoming and supportive.

“Working in conveyancing is rewarding because you are helping people complete on the purchase of their home and move smoothly. Every transaction is different, which makes the role interesting.

“I’m hoping to progress at ORJ, gain experience in other areas of law and continue developing my knowledge.”

ORJ has also recently invested in its Shrewsbury offices, creating a designated client meeting area where clients can meet with solicitors in a modern and welcoming setting.

Robin Hall, Non-Executive Chairman of ORJ, said: “We want to ensure we have the right team in place to offer the highest level of service to our clients.

“Demand remains strong across our conveyancing team from homeowners, businesses and agricultural clients, and I’m delighted to welcome Millie to ORJ.

“We are continuing to invest in both our people and our offices as we grow across the region.”
