North Shropshire based Henstone Distillery are thrilled to announce that they have been named the Gin Guide Awards’ Distillery of the Year for the third time — an achievement unmatched by any other distillery worldwide.
This year, their three core gins — London Dry, Navy and Rosé — each won Gold in their respective categories, facing competition from hundreds of distilleries across 36 countries. It is a result that reflects the team’s hard work and unwavering commitment to consistent quality.
Director and Co-Founder Chris Toller said – “Being named Distillery of the Year of a third time firmly cements Henstone’s reputation among the very best craft distilleries in the UK, and is a powerful endorsement of the distillery’s growing national reputation.”
About The Gin Guide
Widely regarded as the world’s largest independent gin awards, the Gin Guide Awards uses a rigorous blind tasting process judged by distillers, spirits buyers, mixologists, authors and other industry experts. With no influence from branding, marketing or country of origin, Gold Awards are earned purely on the quality of the spirit alone.
“The quality and diversity of gins entered in The Gin Guide Awards 2026 has been remarkable. Gold Award winners have shown the depth of skill in distillation that continues to flourish in the industry. Being a Gold Award winner has become one of the most revered achievements in the gin world.”
Paul Jackson, Head Judge & Founder, The Gin Guide
