Our Trainees:
- Train on the job from day one, earning Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE with the University of Chester.
- Enjoy expert mentoring, real classroom experience, and support from a network of local schools.
The Pathway to Teacher Training:
- Early Years & Primary: PGCE with QTS for ages 3–7 and 5–11; placements in nurseries, Key Stage 1 & 2
- Secondary: Subject-specific routes with mentoring and practical experience in local schools

Chemistry - £29,000 bursary or £31,000 scholarship
Computing - £29,000 bursary or £31,000 scholarship
Physics - £29,000 bursary or £31,000 scholarship
Maths - £29,000 bursary
Languages (all other languages, including ancient languages) - £20,000 bursary
Languages (French, German and Spanish only) - £20,000 bursary or £22,000 scholarship
Design and technology - £20,000 bursary
Geography - £5,000 bursary
Biology - £5,000 bursary
