Telford-based personalised workwear supplier, MyWorkwear, has partnered with Stay Telford and KIP as corporate sponsors of the 2026 Telford Sleep Out.

The sponsorship forms part of the workwear providers 50th anniversary activities, marking half a century of trading by giving back to the community it has long been a part of since its inception in 1976. Over the past 50 years, the business has grown locally while maintaining strong ties to the region, and sees this milestone as an opportunity to reinforce its commitment to social responsibility and important local causes such as tackling homelessness.

The Sleep Out takes place in October and encourages participants to spend one night outdoors in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness, highlighting the realities faced by many across the community and supporting the ongoing work of Stay Telford and Kip.

As part of the sponsorship MyWorkwear will have a team participating in the sleep out as well as providing goodie bags on the night and merchandise available online in the lead up to the event for both participants and supporters to purchase.

Talking of the sponsorship James Worthington, MyWorkwear Co-Owner, said “We’re incredibly proud to be sponsoring this year’s Sleep Out. As a business with strong local roots, supporting our community has always been at the heart of what we do, and homelessness is an issue that can’t be ignored. Working with Stay Telford and Kip on such an important initiative feels like a fitting way to mark the milestone, by helping raise both awareness and vital support for those experiencing homelessness locally.”

Sam Haydon, Fundraising Manager at Stay Telford also said “We’re delighted to announce the brilliant MyWorkwear as our main sponsor for The Telford Sleep Out 2026! Both Stay & Kip are very grateful to James and the team for sponsoring our special event, returning to Madeley Cricket Club on Friday 9th October. It’s fantastic to be working with MyWorkwear during their 50th year celebrations and together we have some exciting things planned for this year’s sleep out!

Thank you for your wonderful support and for helping us to raise awareness of homelessness and raise vital funds to continue our life changing work with local people who need our help.”
