A Shropshire healthcare manufacturer has expanded its growing endoscopy equipment offering after securing an exclusive UK distribution agreement with a leading Italian manufacturer.

Serchem, based at Hortonwood in Telford, has become the exclusive UK distributor of Gandy endoscope reprocessing solutions for Nuova S.B System S.r.l. - further strengthening its position within the healthcare decontamination and endoscopy sector.

The Automated Endoscope Precleaning System (AEPS) has already been installed by the Serchem team in hospitals across the UK.

Manufactured by Nuova SB System in Italy, the Gandy range has been designed to support healthcare providers in improving safety, consistency, efficiency and traceability throughout the endoscope reprocessing pathway.

The expansion includes a Gandy AERs (Automated Endoscope Reprocessors) and ESH H.9 drying and storage cabinet, designed to support the safe high level disinfection and sterilisation, storage and traceability of thermolabile endoscopes within busy healthcare environments.

The addition of the Gandy AER now allows Serchem to offer a wider integrated solution for endoscopy departments looking to strengthen operational efficiency and compliance throughout the full reprocessing pathway.

The expanded equipment range also includes the ESC 9 drying and storage cabinet, supporting healthcare teams with effective endoscope drying, safe storage and improved traceability throughout the reprocessing cycle.
