Receiving your A-Level results is a major milestone, but your next step doesn’t have to mean full-time university.
For school and college leavers considering their options, an apprenticeship can provide the opportunity to earn, learn and gain a recognised qualification, while developing valuable experience in the workplace.
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Apprentice to join its team.
As one of the UK’s leading precast concrete manufacturers, Elite Precast Concrete offers an excellent environment in which to begin and develop a career in manufacturing, quality and concrete technology.
No industry experience required
Previous experience in the precast concrete industry isn’t necessary. Elite Precast is looking for someone who is curious, reliable, comfortable working with numbers and above all, keen to learn.
Working alongside an experienced team, the successful apprentice will gain hands-on experience in:
- Testing concrete and finished products
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Understanding industry standards and compliance requirements
- Recording and analysing quality data
- Supporting continuous improvement
- Developing knowledge of concrete technology and manufacturing
Earn while you learn
Alongside practical experience at Elite Precast Concrete, the apprentice will study towards a Mineral Products qualification through the University of Derby, combining academic learning with practical industry experience.
This offers an alternative route into a skilled career for those who want to continue their education while gaining valuable workplace experience.
Build a long-term career
The apprenticeship is designed to be more than a first job. It can provide the foundations for a long-term career within the industry, with opportunities to develop towards positions such as Quality Technician, Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
For anyone receiving their A-Level results and wondering what comes next, this could be an opportunity to take the first step towards a rewarding career.
