A Shropshire law firm has retained its top-tier ranking in two practice areas in the latest edition of the Legal 500, one of the legal industry’s most respected guides.
Lanyon Bowdler has achieved rankings across 14 practice areas in the Legal 500 2027 edition, with two receiving the coveted top-tier status.
The firm is also celebrating a strong showing for individual lawyers, with 16 individual rankings across the guide.
Nine lawyers have been recognised as Leading Partners, with three named as Next Generation Partners and three as Leading Associates.
Brian Evans, managing partner at Lanyon Bowdler, said: “The Legal 500 is highly respected within the profession because its rankings are independently researched and take into account feedback from clients and other professionals, so it is always pleasing to see the firm and our people recognised.
“Retaining our top-tier status in two practice areas is a significant achievement and reflects the expertise and commitment of the teams involved.
“Just as importantly, we have achieved rankings across 14 practice areas, demonstrating the breadth of specialist knowledge we have throughout Lanyon Bowdler and the consistently high standards our teams deliver for clients.
“It is also wonderful to see so many of our people recognised individually. We now have eight Leading Partners, alongside three Next Generation Partners and three Leading Associates, and I would like to congratulate everyone who has been recognised in this year’s guide.
“These results are ultimately a reflection of the hard work that goes on across the firm every day and our continued focus on providing clients with an approachable, high-quality service.”
Leading Partners are defined by the Legal 500 as lawyers who are among the strongest in their field and receive significant recognition from clients and peers.
Next Generation Partners recognises younger partners who have received significant recognition from clients and peers and play key roles in important matters, while Leading Associates recognises lawyers who are regularly involved in their team’s key work and have received recognition from clients or peers.
Legal 500 was launched in 1987 as a guide to law firms and lawyers. Its rankings are based on independent research, including feedback from clients, barristers and other professionals.
